Most homes that I'm aware of that were build in the 80's used copper wire. You should be able to tell by removing a couple of switch or receptical plates and pulling out the component from the wall so you can see the wiring behind it. Or if you're not sure how to do that the smartest and safest thing to do would be to hire an electrician to research it for you. May be the best $100 bucks you ever spent.

Wiring by: On Level Services
If your mobile home is built after June of 1976, then it was made to HUD standards and the wiring inside your home should be copper not aluminum. That doesn't mean however that the Main connection to the home's fuse box can't be aluminum because most likely it will be. But the wiring inside the home (light switches, outlets) should be copper in a 1986.
