VIN Nnumber on modular home

As everyone we have suffered financilly in this economy and need to refinance our modular home in order to save our home. We have been here 20 plus years alot of remodeling done etc. Now we are trying to refi and because we don't have the VIN numbers they wont refinance us. Someone please help. At this point we would not even be able to sell it b/c no lender will loan without those VIN numbers.
My home appraised for 164,000.00 so not a piece of junk, very good shape but worth 0 dollars without VIN numbers. Thank you.
