Replacement roof

I have a 1973 Broadmore 14x60'with the standard metal roof which currently seems to be in good repair. There is a built-on covered, partially enclosed deck which I would like to re-roof as it leaks. I am wondering if it is possible to make a proper roof over the whole house and deck area so it looks more like a double wide, would allow more insulation, would not be ruined by walking on it when making repairs, and would make it more worthwhile upgrading the whole home beneath. Should I attach such a new roof to the chassis or make some sort of separate foundation in the ground? I live in a park where the land is leased.
