Some hints when shopping for a quality agent
- Ask for a few names of people you can call who
the agent has
helped in the past. Then call these people and ask them about
the
service and representation they received - was it good? Would
they recommend the agent?
- Ask upfront about their fee - don't
expect to grind them down to very little, as they may actually work
harder for you if the commission is greater, but you want to get a
bargin if you can. Just ask and go from there.
- Find out
how many factory-built homes the agent has closed in the last year or
so - a busy agent will have closed on average of one a month, this is a
good place to start.
- Finally, you must "click" with them, but
they also don't need to be your best friend either. You need
to
feel comfortable and feel like they are not pushy, but understanding of
your questions and needs.
