Oakwood VIN location

Where can I find the VIN on my 1983 Oakwood (Parkhill model)? I have checked the kitchen cabinets, the electrical panel and all of the closets to no avail.

There may not be a VIN given to this home at all. In 1983 the Department of Housing changed the rules for mobile homes, and effectively they became Manufactured Homes - thus the VIN proceedure was likely stopped.
