key to manager on my leaving for vacation

I live in the state of Washington and my landlord has stated in the rules and regulations that I have to leave a key with the manager of the part when I go on vacation. Is there a law regarding this ? When I go on vacation I have one of my grandchildren stay at my home to take care of my home I am gone or I give a key to my neighbors so they can enter my home in case of an emergency and I also notify the local police department. I feel if the manager has a key to my place and manager does not live in the park anyone could gain access to my key and enter my home.
I would appreciate any information you could give me on this matter.
