Get my name off the modular home loan

Greetings:

I have a modular home loan that I have not paid on for many months. I moved out of the mobile home park, but I have not been able to severe my rental space obligation because the landlord sees that I am still responsible for the modular home.

So, far the lender has not taken any action to repossess the modular home. They sent me a Notice of Default sometime ago, but I have not seen any further action from the lender. I want to surrender the modular home to the lender, but they have not responded to my notice of intention.

How can I sever my legal and financial responsibility in the modular home and following that sever the modular home space rental agreement?
