Do they pour the concrete for the footers or do they have concrete pads they put down? And if they pour concrete how long until they can set the trailer on them?
You can do it either way depending on your local building codes. Contact Scott Oliver with Oliver Technologies. www.olivertechnologies.com. tell him John from On The Level referred you to him. He's very knoledgeable throughout the USA and is he largest manufacturer of manufactured home foundation systems in the Country.

Footings by: On Level Services
I've seen it both ways. If the house is being set-up on ground or pit run, the footings will most likely be two 4x8x16" cement blocks or a single 4x16x16" block. If the footings are poured or if the home is to be set on a full or partial slab the concrete will need to "cure" before the home is placed on the slab. I've seen a home driven on the slab with only one day of cure and it wasn't pretty. It felt hard to the touch but the weight of the home was crushing the slab the whole way. We were told by the Dealer to set the home anyways but you know the poor home owner has to be having leveling issues today. -Steve
