First manufactured 80' Single Wides

I have an Single Wide trailer that I'm appraising and there is no year. It is an 80' Trailer. One person suggested 1980. I'm thinking 80' trailers were not manufactured until mid to late 80's.... ?????? Do you know anything about this?
