If you own a Mobile Home, it is absolutely
necessary to have enough fire insurance. Most people want
inexpensive Mobile Home insurance, and why should you over pay?
However, with insurance, you want to be covered - completely!
Insurance on a Mobile or Manufactured home is
essentially the same as on a regular home - with a few
differences.
The main difference is that like most things with
all factory built homes, you need to use someone who is familiar
with them. Using someone who insures these kinds of
structures consistantly is the best way to avoid disaster later.
The good news is that you do not have to sacrifice
price for expertise!
The insurance is covering partial or whole loss in
the event of fire and other damage that could occur. You MUST
have insurance if you have a mortgage or loan on your home.
When you call for a quote, have your
registration in hand. The agent will need the year of manufacture,
make, model, and all serial numbers, decal, HUD Label numbers, etc.
